I wanted my girl'south chamber to accept a customized feel, but did not want to spend a fortune ownership messages. I accept seen them cost from $ten to $60 a piece. Making them custom from the craft store is much cheaper. Since Camilla'south proper noun is so long, there was no way I was going to spend even $10 a slice. I spent less than $2 per letter for this DIY project, and I have craft supplies left over to do other projects.
Supplies & Tools
- Lullaby Paint in Cotton Candy
- Neon Pink Acrylic Paint
- Wood Letters
- Yarn in Grayness
- Trash Bag or Drop Cloth
- Paint Castor
- Scotch Cream Record
- Gorilla Glue
- Scissors
- Level
- Pencil
- Heavy Object (I used a shelf )
Instructions
ane. Mix the Cotton wool Candy Lullaby Paint with neon pink acrylic paint at a ratio of 1:1 in a zero lock bag. Y'all can order samples from Lullaby Paint to complete this project. Lullaby Paints are made from the finest ingredients and are babe rubber paints, In fact, the paints are so condom they include food course ingredients.
2. Lay out a trash handbag or drop textile. Lay the messages on top.
3. Paint the messages with the pigment mixture.
4. Wait for the letter to dry then wrap the yarn around the letter. Necktie the last of the yarn together.
five. Put a picayune bit of the gorilla glue on the back of the letter. Stay away from the edges every bit gorilla glue expands when information technology dries. Place the cream tape on top of the gorilla glue.
6. Lay out the letters and mensurate an inch between them to get the space needed for the name. Use a pencil to draw boundaries for the name.
7. Apply the level to make sure that the letters are straight. Peel off the cream record backing and stick the alphabetic character to the wall.
